With 5G network rollouts in progress, mobile network operators and civil/defence regulators are required to measure the impact of the 5G towers on existing critical communications infrastructure such as airport radars, military radars and satellite earth stations.
The webinar demonstrates how to identify potential interference from 5G base stations and their impact on airport radars. The analysis is based on criteria set out by national regulators for the management of potential conflict. It covers the process required to identify interference and recommended mitigation techniques in HTZ Communications/HTZ Warfare, formerly known as ICS telecom.
Part 1 covers the interference cases in the 5G band, and basic cartographic data input in HTZ Communications/HTZ Warfare to set up 5G network simulation projects.
