This week in the IGS Global Seminar Series we have another two talks on sea ice.
First, Sean Chua and Anton Steketee from the Australian Antarctic Division and Australian Antarctic Partnership Program are going to introduce us to a new tool for visualizing Antarctic Sea Ice data. The tool is called Nilas (https://nilas.org/#1/-90/0) and the talk is titled Nilas: The Southern Ocean Mapping Platform.
Second, Dr. Andy Mahoney from the University of Alaska Fairbanks will present a talk entitled Ikaagvik Sikukun: Bridging the Scientific and Indigenous communities understanding of sea ice in a changing Arctic.
