_you're so precious, rare and obviously drop dead gorgeous. you're a once in a lifetime experience, an earth angel and even a god to most.

_everyone is extremely selfish and possessive of you. everyone wants you for their own, keeping you as their little secret because they feel you're too rare, too special, extraordinary to belong to anyone else.

_people feel a very painful, gut-twisting mixture of jealousy, hatred, devastation, and fear all in one when they see people talking to you. no one can bear to witness someone experiencing you, even if it is just a quick conversation. they feel as if others aren't worthy of your presence, let alone getting to 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬 to you. It annoys and frustrates them. you could call it delusion, but to everyone, you are *theirs*.

_people would instantly feel as if they were sentenced to an eternal state of devastation and heartbreak the moment you'd leave. whether a permanent departure, or you simply go to run a quick errand, it just hurts so bad and aches to not be near you.

_It's absolute pain, suffering, and total agony every second that you're not in a person's life. people solely depend on your existence because without it their life would be nothing but pain.

_everyone is awfully obsessed with you. wanting to keep you all to themselves because you're just so precious, one of a kind, someone to have once and then never again.

_people could try to find you in someone else but it'd be impossible to. most people are overly stuck on you because of this. they know that they'd never meet someone like you again and that's a pretty valid reason to wanna keep you a hidden secret.

_people want to keep you a secret from others because they fear they'd lose you or have to compete with others just to hold their place in your life. people want to gatekeep you like a niche artist because they truly feel that anyone else is merely a threat or interference.

_people are terrified of going to places with you because they know for a fact all eyes would be on you just rapidly marking up the chances of you being “stolen” from them.

_when you're gone, they feel their only option is to sit alone stewing and spiraling in their fears of losing you; making up painful scenario after scenario driving themselves crazy. they sit and wait hours on end for a text, a phone call, or even for you to show up out of the blue.

_people are literal fiends and addicts for you. and just like an addiction, you're kept secret lol.

_the people you meet or currently know, they stay stuck living with the constant fear of losing you, it eats away at their mental space nonstop. this “fear”; competing for a place in your life and being scared to not be in it at all. It drives them crazy, to the brink of insanity just thinking of what life could be without you. no one could ever bear to let you go willingly.

_you are the epitome of everything desirable. you have everything that literally anyone could ever want. who you are specifically caters to any and everyone's ideal. everyone wants you because you are their perfect person. tbh, you're everyone's perfect person.

_people will do whatever it takes to keep you all to themselves, no matter the limit or boundary. everything goes out the door the second they feel the “relationship” between you and them is threatened. whether platonic or not, people are always determined to keep you.

_people go to great lengths to keep you as their little secret because without you, nothing and no one could ever offer the same fulfillment as you do. there's no point in anything, not even life itself if they can't have you in it.
