A resident of Saligao, Manjit Mahesh Naik of Grand Morod, Saligao, has filed a police complaint alleging that he and his father were assaulted by a group of individuals near Hotel Aldea Siesta on Sunday evening.
According to the complaint, the incident occurred following a dispute related to rent-a-bike dealings. The accused allegedly attacked the father-son duo with fists and kicks and also issued death threats during the assault.
Police have taken cognizance of the complaint and further investigation into the matter is underway.
