MAADIYA is a band created by Tadeusz Palosz, Marcos Ubeda & Francisco Amoscotegui. Three experienced musicians based in London (UK) who have got together to create a special music voyage.
A World Music experience handpan based.
Adding flutes, percussions, strings with effects and voices, they move between eastern, african and tribal rhythms mixed with beautiful voice harmonies and instrumental melodies.
A music full of arrangements and details that generates a feeling of shelter to embrace the magic of the music through the body. From deep slow tempos with a profound intention of inner listening to rhythmical and tribal pieces to let everything go out.
Their music moves from calm and atmospheric to rhythmical landscapes in a way that remaind to bands like Dead Can Dance.
They have played for Sofar Sounds London and several festivals in UK like Tribal Earth or HangOutUK.
MAADIYA is a created word that the members of the band using as a calling for intuitive, gentle and kind energy into their lives, a calling for a femenine energy, to be more in the wisdom of heart than the brain
