This is part 10 of a series of videos that document my travels for 6 weeks during the summer of 2025. As a teacher, I take advantage of getting my summers off by doing as much traveling as I can possibly do.
In this episode, we make our first port of call in Alaska's first city, Ketchikan. We didn't have an excursion booked, instead opting to just explore the town on our own. In particular, I chose to hike the Deer Mountain Trail, and get in some exercise while giving my wallet a rest. We had a great day, and Ketchikan was a great start on our journey to Alaska!
