Описание: The future of fashion is here. The Industrial Research Technology Institute has developed an automated garment-making station that''s up and running in Tainan. This smart system can make a garment from design to production with the help of a robotic arm to reduce reliance on manual labor. These models'' crew neck tees were made by applying AI to the textile industry. From design to sample production to manufacturing, every step was carried out by a single automated shirt-making station. It can make small quantities of many products, affording flexibility during the production process.Alice KaoTextile company representative…starting with crew neck T-shirts. It can all be done at one multiprocessing station. The robotic arm substitutes for human labor. Currently, we''re able to cut manual labor by 20 or 30%. In the future, we hope to reduce it by 70%.Chen Po-lungITRI R&DWe use this 3-D visualization module to direct the robotic arm, so that it can move flexibly. Depending on fabric it''s handling, it can move in different ways to make a product. This is how it achieves effectiveness similar to manual labor. With support from ITRI, Taiwan''s textile industry is heading toward semi-automation. This smart technology can also be applied in other manufacturing industries.Chen Po-lungITRI R&DIt can also be used to load and unload materials in metal processing, to assemble electronics, and to load, unload and transport goods in the logistics industry. We already have projects underway in these industries. In collaboration with ITRI, the textile industry is freeing itself from a model based on division of labor and the coordination of multiple manufacturers. Automated solutions are coming to shorten processes and maximize production efficiency.
