I had a few questions come through regarding technique and pain issues with chin-ups and pull-ups.
Today’s Q&A will establish a frame work of what you need to execute the full chin-up or pull-up in regard to external rotation and internal rotation.
Simple concepts. You need ER for access to range of motion upon which you superimpose your IR to produce force.
If you don’t have ER, your IR potential will be compromised and force production or range of motion will be reduced.
