Exploring Shinjo Village: one of Japan's most beautiful villages

Описание: Some places you travel to just hold a special place in your heart. I've been lucky enough to travel to Okayama's Shinjo Village once every season for the past year, and I thought I would share the beauty of this town with you.

Peak cherry blossom season at Shinjo Village is usually mid-April, but sometimes a tiny bit later depending on the season.

The autumn foliage tends to hit its peak in early to mid-November, though as always it depends on the weather. We visited Nov 4-5, 2024 and were a bit too early.

January and February are usually snowy. It's quite cold up there, so the snow sticks around for a while.
