In this video I show you my Ista Breeze i1500 finally putting some power out after one of the longest spats of still weather I can remember in my area, almost 6 weeks.
The turbine is performing well with a peak output of 1100 watts seen earlier in the day, however there appears to be some in-balance in the hub causing some slight vibration despite checking blade weight, tip distances and balance prior to erecting, will be lowering the turbine soon to check this.
So far some acceptable output and one happy off gridder here!
I have another 3 100ah LifePO4 battery packs on the way which will give 30kwh of storage, Covid issues with manufacturing in China are causing delays so just need to make do with 15kwh for now.
