“Yerevan” Wind Orchestra of Yerevan Municipality, in collaboration with Filo. Schoolchildren’s Philharmonia, presented an unprecedented cultural project:
Charlie Chaplin. “The Kid” — a silent film with live orchestra”.
For the first time in Armenia’s wind music history, the orchestra performed all 11 soundtracks live, synchronized with the film screening.
The audience was immersed in the magical fusion of silent cinema and classical music, experiencing a full spectrum of emotions.
This project marked an important step in revaluing silent film and revealing new expressive possibilities of the wind orchestra, while introducing young audiences to the powerful connection between cinema and live classical music.
