The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh is not running on law and order, but solely on empty rhetoric, hatred, and hooliganism.

CJM Vibhanshu Sudhir, who ordered the filing of an FIR against ASP Anuj Chaudhary and several other police officers in the Sambhal violence case, has been transferred to Sultanpur.

Along with the transfer, he has been removed from the post of CJM and made a Civil Judge – effectively a demotion.

His place has been taken by Aditya Singh, the new CJM of Sambhal, who had ordered the survey of the Sambhal Jama Masjid.

The Yogi government's message is clear:

If you take action against our protected corrupt and hateful police officers, you will lose your position.

If court orders are based not on the constitution but on pleasing those in power, you will be rewarded.

No matter how intoxicating this power may be, it will surely wear off one day.
