Watch as Doug mods a Cheetah 1/24 resin kit from The Parts Box and mates it with a vintage 1965 Cox Sidewinder slot car chassis!
The most successful Bill Thomas Cheetah was a roadster built by Gene Crowe and Ralph Salyer. The pair addressed the car's well-known overheating issues by removing the roof and adding innovative engine venting. The resulting race car achieved 6 first place, 2 second and 2 third place finishes and 6 pole positions!
