Located in Ein Karem, the Church of the Visitation is where the Blessed Virgin Mary traveled after the Annunciation to visit her newly pregnant relative, Elizabeth and her husband Zechariah. The Bible says that Mary traveled to the hill country to visit Elizabeth and fittingly the Church of the Visitation is located at the top of a short, but steep climb.
