Evgenija Kanaeva is the only individual rhythmic gymnast in history to win two Olympic all-around gold medals.
Kanayeva is the only gymnast to receive a perfect score under the 30-point judging system.
Yana Kudryavtseva holds the record as the youngest rhythmic gymnast to win the World Championships in the All-around at 15 years of age.
She broke another record at the 2014 World Championships becoming the youngest to win back-to-back All-around World titles at 16.
Alina Kabaeva revolutionized rhythmic gymnastics as one of the few gymnasts to have performed new skills and elements, including the back split pivot with hand help (also known as "The Kabaeva"), the ring position with a slow full turn, and the backscale pivot that she first performerd.
