The first part of my walk along the Worcester and Birmingham Canal. I start at Old Turn Junction on the Birmingham Mainline Canal, where it joins the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal. I make the short walk through Brindley Place to where the Worcester and Birmingham begins/ends at Gas Street Basins, and then its off towards Worcester. Finishing this part of the walk at Selly Oak's Bristol Road Bridge (Bridge 80). Along the way we pass through Edgbaston Tunnel, Birmingham University and the Ariel Aqueduct. I stop off for a quick explore around The University of Birmingham.
