I really want to get my Chase Bliss MOOD back on the big pedalboard. But I felt I needed to understand the pedal better. So first I did some sketching in a smaller setup. Here are three interesting combinations I found.
First is Env mode into Reverb mode: the looper follows your playing so there is always a nice pad of looped material underneath the melody. Feed this into a nice big reverb for a lush ambient pad.
In the second sketch I played with the Clock to pitch down the recorded material. I start with looping an A minor chord and I end up with a pad in E minor to accompany the melodic notes. Slip mode is set to pitch the notes an octave up with a reverse delay.
The last sketch is more experimental. Tape mode lets you determine the playback speed of the loop, this also affects the pitch. It is great to use this in combination with Clock to get different pitches and speeds. This goes into the delay which I use to layer the different speeds/pitches on top of each other.
