Vertical Flame Test For Cable Harness
Reference Standard: IEC 60332-3-22 (CAT-A)
IEC 60332-3-23 (CAT-B)
IEC 60332-3-24 (CAT-C)
IEC 60332-3-25 (CAT-D)
The interaction of cable during fire is measured with this test.
The test is done in 4 categories as A,B,C,D.
The flame is applied for 40 minutes for A and B categories, 20 minutes for C and D categories.
As a result of the test, if the damaged portion does not exceed 2,5 meters, it is deemed that the product has passed test.
