The Long Range Traverse in Gros Morne National Park is a challenging 4-day off-trail adventure through the wilderness of Newfoundland & Labrador. With jaw-dropping fjord views, and remote campsites, and a high chance for moose encounters, this route is for experienced backpackers—and totally worth the effort!

We tackled the full traverse from Western Brook Pond to Gros Morne Mountain in August, with side trips to Bakers Brook Pond and the Gros Morne Mountain Summit.
