🔍 Episode Overview:
Officer Cassandra Martinez of the Villa Park Police Department received a dispatch call. It was from the Elmhurst Police Department. They reported erratic driving. A vehicle was heading west on West Avenue. It came from North Avenue. Officer Martinez found a black 2024 Mazda. It matched the description. The car was stopped at a red light. It was at Addison Road. She followed the car. The driver swerved. The car nearly hit a red Toyota. Officer Martinez turned on her lights. She signaled for the driver to stop. The car pulled over.

She approached the driver. The driver was Jacqueline Sandoval. She was 23 years old. Sandoval said she was going home. She had dinner with her boyfriend in Chicago. He asked if she drank. She said no. Officer Martinez suspected impairment. She asked Sandoval to get out. She wanted Sandoval to do sobriety tests. Another officer arrived to help. Sandoval's test results confirmed the suspicion. She was offered a breathalyzer test. The test showed a blood alcohol content of 0.162%. This was double the legal limit.

Because of the driving, the alcohol smell, her behavior, her poor test results, and the breathalyzer outcome, Officer Martinez arrested Jacqueline. The charge was driving under the influence. Sandoval was handcuffed. She was placed in the patrol car. She was taken to the Villa Park Police Department. On the way, she slipped her handcuffs. This happened inside the patrol car's back.

At the police station, she was read a warning. She would not give proper breath samples. After processing, she was released. She received tickets for court. These were for driving under the influence. She also got one for improper lane use.
