Miss Patty Berg, womens professional golf champion, was at the Blue Hills Golf Club today to demonstrate
(SHOW FILM)
her skills to area golfers. The golf pro conducted a clinic at the Course, giving general instruction, in driving and putting, stance etc, and answering many questions about the sprot. Miss Berg has won every major title except the PGA championship, beginning back in 1938. In that year, at age 17, she won the womens national amateur championship. Later on in the day, Miss BErg palyed an exhibition match with Clarence King, Blue Hills pro, and Sylvia Albert, womens club champion.
