Also released for ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC.
Set in the two World Wars and an hypothetical modern third, it is a third-person aircraft shooter that has little to do with the word "simulator" in the title. It was released directly in a paperback edition.
Only on Commodore 64 the screen scrolls horizontally.
The two-player mode is a one-on-one duel in a scenario of your choice from the three world wars, with landscapes similar to those in single player, but in a much smaller, fixed-screen area.
Many many many many thanks to minotaurus for this longplay!
What he said about this game?
"As you progress planes become faster and more difficult to control.
The goal is to eliminate all hostile planes, recover the bomb and drop it in enemy bases:
Level 1: single base
Level 2: two bases
Level 3: three bases
Every time we destroy a base (except for the first level) you have to eliminate enemy planes again in order to take another bomb.
Bombing is not guaranteed, so if you make a mistake you will still be forced to face an enemy wave all over again.
Land on the runway to revover your ammunitions (so be careful to remember where the plane takes off from); to refuel you have to pass over the FUEL sign (and that's not so easy for certain reasons :D)."
This video is part of the videogame endings database, whose goal is to catalogue and create the world's largest archive of videogame endings! (what an humble and not ambitious project :D)
