Altra's Escalante 4 is a low stack height, zero-drop road running shoe. It's lightweight and a great spiritual successor to Nike's Free Run 5.0. I also compare it to the Altra Torin 7 and the next generation Torin 8. Ultimately I chose the Escalante 4 over the Torin 8 for my marathon shoe.
