Описание: In today’s video I’m going to show you how to make a quilted fabric bread basket / tray. This fabric basket is very useful and decorative at the same time. It also makes a great gift for friends and family.

Important note: I use the metric system and make the exact conversion from cm to inches in the hope of helping. Please adapt these measurements to your ruler.

Fabric measurements for the outside fabric:
1 fabric piece: 50cm | 19 11/16” x 45cm | 17 23/32”.

Fabric measurements for the inside fabric:
1 fabric piece: 50cm | 19 11/16” x 45cm | 17 23/32”.

Fabric stabilizer measurements:
1 fabric piece: 50cm | 19 11/16” x 45cm | 17 23/32”.

Fabric measurements for the straps (you can replace the straps by ribbons or snap buttons):
8 fabric pieces: 25cm | 9 27/32” x 3cm | 1 3/16”.

Needle sizes (universal sewing machine needles):
80/12;
90/14;
110/18.

Seam Allowance:
0.3cm | 1/8” (Straps);
1cm | 25/64” (Sewing both fabric pieces together before turning right side out);
10cm | (Last step - basket finishing).

0:00 - Quilted bread basket.
0:31 - Supplies needed and fabric measurements.
0:44 - Make the straps.
2:03 - Quilting.
3:17 - Place and sew the straps.
4:17 - Place and sew the inside and outside fabric pieces together.
6:22 - Trim the excess fabric.
6:53 - Turn the quilted bread basket right side out.
7:44 - Close up the opening with an invisible hand stitching.
8:52 - Top stitch the quilted bread basket.
10:05 - Draw and sew the stitching lines so that the basket will fold easily.
11:53 - Finished quilted bread basket.
