We love these moments, when the herd show their absolute dedication to Khanyisa and helping the most vulnerable in their family when they’re in distress. A little trumpet from Khanyisa as something alarms her in the bush and the elephants all come running…
As they settle down, they start to drink from the dam and enjoy a refuel during a hot day in the bush. Look out for the different elephants, like Sebakwe, Timisa and Limpopo who compete for Adine’s attention, Zindoga and Mambo who stay close to the females for a change!
While the bush is dry now, the summer will bring its rains shortly and the reserve will return into the green paradise the elephants love so much!
