Tura MP Saleng Sangma on Monday criticised the NPP government, accusing it of working towards the dissolution of the Autonomous District Councils.
He claimed that with elections approaching, NPP leaders had rushed to the Garo Hills, while many party leaders who had governed the region for years had failed to contribute to its development.
Saleng Sangma further criticised Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, stating that the CM, even now, is offering assurances to the people during the “CM Connect” programme instead of taking concrete action to resolve their longstanding issues.
