– Illusion. This side, that side, seeking a flower.
– Seeking a flower, indeed, a stemless flower in the expanse of the dream,
its nectar …
– Sorrow. Sorrow of the gaze: wakefulness of the eye, leaflessness of the hand.
– Nay. Pluck up a basket, a journey in the garden.
– Often have I returned, and my souvenir: an empty dream.
– Another journey, O friend, and to another garden.
– Farewell.
– Farewell, and may fear’s power accompany you.
