Brand New OTIS GeN2 Elevators - Hotel Concorde, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, ES

Описание: Hotel Concorde in Las Palmas have replaced their aging elevators in 2020 into brand new OTIS GeN2s. I have actually known this when I first visited the hotel in early 2020 as one of them had just completed the replacement and another one was being replaced. Now that I came here again in 2022, it's time to see how the new ones look like.

These elevators were previously old OTIS elevators from the 1960s with swing doors on the outside but normal automatic doors on the ground floor. I believe they had been modernized at some point as I remember the service elevator had Series 1 fixtures, but some time later they were given a refurbishment by KONE with new KSS buttons. The new ones here are just typical newer European GeN2 with eView LCD displays and Spanish OTIS voice announcement, and they run pretty well. They now serve the 7th floor where it was previously not served by the old elevators. Didn't manage to rode the middle one, but I'm assuming it's just the same as the left hand one. Btw, level B is the ground floor (B stands for "baja" which means ground) and level E is the mezzanine (E stands for "entre").
