I used to struggle a lot with my anxiety. Feelings of insecurity, that I would never reach my goals and dreams and that I could never make a difference in the world around me. The voices in my head would convince that the people around me weren't on my side that anything I wrote or created wasn't good enough.

I would have anxiety attacks where my heart was racing, I felt tightness in my chest and couldn't breathe, crying my eyes out... This would happen every time these thoughts would overwhelm me.

But one day God grabbed my attention and showed me that He created me with a purpose, and that He will be the one to equip me and to hold me as I carry it out. He reminded me that His power alone is enough to bring me to where He wants me to be; I just need to trust Him and let Him guide my steps.

That is when I realized that I AM ENOUGH. He made me into the person I am today and He'll continue to mold me and shape me into who He wants me to be. So I am enough. I will continue to fulfil my purpose wherever I am, no matter how big or small it seems to me at the time. Everyone is at a different place in their lives and needs to see that they are not alone. You never know the difference you can make on a person's life just by letting God use you where you are.

I hope you are encouraged today to keep pushing forward. You are loved, you are strong, you matter and you are enough! And don't let anyone tell you otherwise. God has a plan for you and He wants to love you and use you where you are right now. You just need to let Him.

So you close your eyes, say a prayer, and just hope for the best

You’re not the only one hearing voices in your head
You’re not the only one who believed the lies they said
You argue, and you fight trying to prove you’re worth more
But they just get louder and stronger reminding you of when you fell before

But as the voices get louder you hear a whisper, a voice oh so sweet
With gentle kindness and a warning saying: ‘Those thoughts are not from me!’
That’s when you realize you’ve been listening to the wrong voice
You try to focus on that sweet whisper and everything else becomes noise

As you focus the whisper gets louder; the voice of your Creator becomes clear
He says you are loved and have a purpose. He makes all anxiety disappear
He says His grace is sufficient. You start to rest in His peace
He picks you up, holds you close, puts your heart together piece by piece

So enough is enough
Because He is enough
Then I am enough

When the voices come back and try to tear me down
I take a deep breath, straighten my crown
With all my strength and all my might I raise my voice and shout
I am a child of the one true King, I have no room for fear and doubt

He knew me from the beginning and created me for His will
He gave me purpose and a meaning, in His promise I stand still
Now I don’t need anyone’s approval, I don’t need my name in light
I just want to give Him glory, run my race to His delight

So when anxiety comes creeping in I’ll stand my ground and call its bluff
For He’ll use me where He leads me, and to me, that is enough
