Awesome Freeware Pitts Challenger II - First Aerobatic Display - Microsoft Flight Simulator

Описание: Today we're taking a look at the fantastic new freeware Pitts Challenger II by F7 Simulations. The airshow fans among you will recognize, that it isn't just any Pitts, but the mount of legendary airshow pilot Sean D. Tucker.

Those of you who are familiar with F7 Simulations Eagle S100 will know what to expect from the Pitts. You get a visual model that is at the same high level of Carenado and one of the best flight models available. In case of the Pitts the Cockpit and sounds are from the standard Pitts S2S cockpit that is included in the sim. But both fit very well.

If you're familiar with my videos you know that I love aerobatics, but I'm no expert when it comes to extreme aerobatics. So, this flight is a bit rough here and there and the aircraft is certainly capable of a lot more. But I still hope you'll enjoy the video and it can be useful to give a first impression of the Challenger. In my opinion it's one of the best, if not the best freeware currently available!

Two things to note:
You'll see me going over the red line on the airspeed indicator quite a few times, that's because the instrument is still from the Pitts S1S which has a much lower top speed.
There is currently no smoke available, but that is planned for a future update.

For the flight I choose LILC Calcinate Del Pesce which is part of the 40th anniversary update. It might not be the most suitable airfield for the Pitts, but I stumbled on it by accident and think it's one of the more beautiful locations in MSFS.
