Video Quality Measured as PSNR

Описание: Video quality is commonly measured as PSNR. The PSNR, pixel signal to noise ratio, though not perfect, has been a default standard for all video quality measurements. There have been many other measurement methods, but none popularized enough for the broad community. This presentation presents the definition of the PSNR, and how it is measured, from a layman's perspective. It then gives the viewer a visual feel of how the quality changes as the numbers change, through example images.
