Mr. Will addresses every facet of the American experience, from the American Revolutionary War to a scathing assessment of how State of the Union Addresses are delivered in the modern day. Utilizing several columns about court cases, primarily from the Supreme Court, Mr. Will also illuminates concerns regarding the composition of the federal judiciary.

Mr. Will writes a twice-weekly syndicated column on politics and domestic and foreign affairs for The Washington Post. He began his column with the Post in 1974 and received the Pulitzer Prize for Commentary in 1977. His fifteen previous books include The Conservative Sensibility, One Man’s America, Men at Work: The Craft of Baseball, and Statecraft as Soulcraft. Mr. Will grew up in Champaign, Illinois, attended Trinity College and Oxford University, and received a Ph.D. from Princeton.
