This route follows a beautiful rising valley, offering a perfect mix of tranquil waterside paths alongside reservoirs and the steady climb toward the YHA Brecon Beacons via summit of Fan Fawr
We start at the forest edges of Llwyn Onn, passing the massive expanse of the reservoir before heading deep into the glacial valley where the landscape truly opens up.
