Описание: In this cinematic, long-form build video, we take a completely stock BMW M340i and transform it step by step into a full bolt-on performance build, showing the real process, real problems, and real results that come with modifying a modern turbocharged car.

This video follows the entire journey from start to finish, beginning with the removal of the factory plastic engine cover, stock airbox, intake, and chargepipe, and moving into the heart of the build with the downpipe installation. During the downpipe install, we ran into an unexpected issue where the factory catalytic converter was seized to the exhaust, turning what should have been a simple job into a real challenge. This is the side of car builds most people don’t show.

Once the stock catalytic converter was finally removed, the build continued with the installation of the MAD high-flow turbo inlet, designed to improve airflow directly into the turbocharger for faster spool and better throttle response. From there, we upgraded the factory chargepipe to Spool Performance chargepipes, eliminating one of the most common failure points on turbo BMWs and adding reliability to support increased boost.

Next, we installed the RK-Tunes front mount intake, allowing the engine to breathe cooler air while unlocking the turbo sound BMW owners rarely hear in stock form. Along the way, we added a subtle visual upgrade by painting the front bar blue as part of a slow reveal and completed a grille flap delete to improve airflow and clean up the front end.

This build is not about chasing dyno numbers or building an extreme race car. It’s about removing factory restrictions, improving airflow, increasing reliability, and enhancing the driving experience while keeping the car usable and refined.
