Amethyst Unveiled: The Quest for Violet Pigment

Описание: Paints with amethyst in them, only amethyst. Paints that are also violet... is it possible?

I suspect that watercolor paints that make these claims do have some sort of quartz in it. It give the natural shimmer. But transparent quartzes, (so without the color of iron oxides) all turn to a greyish powder when ground to a pigment.

Check the video if you still have doubts! I'm making handmade watercolor paint out of the pigment. I'm also pulling the same trick to get actual violet paint...
