【4K】 Walking along the trail of Seoul Fortress Wall in Seoul 서울 성곽길 걷기

Описание: We take a walk along the trail of the Seoul Fortress Wall, section from Dongdaemun to Naksan Park and Daehak-ro street in Seoul. The total distance of walk is around 2.5km. Starting to walk at Heunginji-mun Park, where is in front of Dongdaemun, we complete the walk at Hyehwa Subway Station Line 2 via Daehak-ro, youngsters' street.

Fortress Wall of Seoul is the castle wall of Hanyang, capital of Joseon Dynasty, surrounded the capital town. The castle wall was built by Taejo, the first King of Joseon Dynasty, in 1396 but damaged so much going through the colonial period of Japan and Korean War. From the regime of Park in 1974, its restoration business has been conducted.

Daehak-ro is a street of culture and art from Jongno 5-ga, Jongno-gu, to Hyehwa-dong Rotary in seoul. The total length of the street is around 1.55km and the width is 25-40m. In the past, there were many colleges of Seoul National University on the street. Since the university moved, Marronnier Park was built at the place of the university and many representative culture and art centers were opened at the street. As there was a university on the street, it was called Daehak-ro which means a college street.
