An instrumental cover of the tune originally from the 1929 German film of the same name. Whiteman is here with the Sax Sockette, one of four specialty groups he recorded with for Decca around this time, the other three being the Swing Wing, Bouncing Brass, and Swinging Strings. Recorded on April 7th, 1939, in New York City. This record was released sometime in 1939. Transferred from 78-rpm Decca 2467 B.
