Listen back to our hybrid public meeting , held on 27 April 2023 and chaired by Damien Ó Tuama. The topic was Enabling Cycling to School.
Speakers:
Cynthia O’ Mahony, an Infrastructure Officer from An Taisce’s Safe Routes to School team, presented on the topic “Safe Routes to School - Beyond Encouragement - How to Help Children to Travel Actively to School”.
Niamh Ní Cholmáin, Schools Mobility Outreach Officer with Dublin City Council, gave an overview of the installation of School Zones across the City since 2020.
Ellen Cullen, Dublin Cycling Campaign Chairperson, shared her experiences of cycling with children.
