THE BOYS is a superhero satire series that explores a world where superheroes, or "Supes," are managed by the powerful corporation Vought International and are often more corrupt and self-serving than heroic. The series follows two groups: The Seven, Vought's premier superhero team (a Justice League parody), and The Boys, a vigilante group led by Billy Butcher, who seek to expose Vought's secrets and dismantle their control over the Supes. The show delves into themes of celebrity culture, power abuse, and the dark side of heroism, all while maintaining a darkly humorous and violent tone.

The series features an ensemble cast that includes Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Chace Crawford, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Elisabeth Shue, Colby Minifie, Aya Cash, Claudia Doumit, Jensen Ackles, Cameron Crovetti, Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

John got his start in the film business as a stunt man in 1990 on the film The Perfect Weapon. At the age of 9, he started studying boxing, kickboxing, gung fu, kali and escrima and eventually Bruce Lee's art of Jeet Kune Do under Dan Inosanto and Richard Bustillo at the original Filipino Kali Academy in Torrance, California. With over 100 film and television credits he is now one of the top Stunt Coordinators and Fight Coordinators in Hollywood. HYPEBEAST named John one of the top 5 Stunt Coordinators / Fight Coordinators for his work on the Sony AMC television show Preacher. He continues to set himself apart with the ability to fight choreograph, stunt coordinate and second unit direct entire action sequences.

During the #interview, John talks about the good old days when he was stunt performing in Batman Forever, Spider-Man, and now working with an amazing global team.
