Highlights of some of the best local shows that are award winning. Some of these shows have been awarded at the SAFTA's 2012. SABC Acting Head of Television Bessie Tugwana said the SABC is honoured to be part of the recognition of talent in the local film and television industry. "As SABC we are extremely proud of local independent producers who often have to develop productions under very difficult circumstances and great sacrifice on their part. This year our very own Isidingo won the Best Soapie award, congratulations to the whole production and cast team for the great work and for flying the SABC 3 flag high. To all the SAFTA nominees and winners this year, the local film and television industry exist because of you," said Tugwana.
