Hey all in this AU Marinette is no longer the miraculous holder, as a result she loses all her memories in Paris. Cat noir tells her parents what has happened, so they decide to send her to a boarding school in England not knowing it's actually a school for wizards and witches. Alya already knew about her being ladybug, but cat noir never told her what really happened to her, only that she was sent to boarding school.
The stress of keeping Paris safe and loosing Marinette got to Cat noir/ Adrian which caused him to lose control of himself and turn into cat Blanc. But was still able to resist Hawkmoth but he wasn't able to return being Cat noir as it was no longer him. Nobody knows Cat Blanc's true identity.
Marinette's parents gave her a new name to protect her from hawkmoth and also to give her a fresh start.
