-Paneer Gobhi Matar Curry – Step-by-Step
Step 1:
Grind the following:
Onion (1 large, chopped)
Green chillies (2–3)
Grind moderately.
Step 2:
Add tomatoes (200g) and grind to make tomato puree.
Step 3:
Heat oil (3 tbsp).
Add paneer (300g). To avoid sticking, coat paneer with haldi.
Cook for 2–3 minutes on medium flame.
Step 4:
Remove the fried paneer and keep aside.
Step 5:
Add the ground onion–green chilli paste.
Add ginger–garlic paste (2 tsp).
Sauté for 1 minute.
Add salt as needed.
Add tomato puree and ½ glass water.
Cook for 1 minute on medium flame.
Step 6:
Add spices:
Red chilli powder (1 tsp)
Turmeric (1 tsp)
Kashmiri red chilli powder (1 tsp)
Jeera powder (1 tsp)
Coriander powder (1 tsp)
Garam masala powder (1 tsp)
Salt as needed
Mix well. Cover and cook for 2–3 minutes on low flame.
Step 7:
Add cauliflower (250g).
Add 1 glass water.
Mix well. Cover and cook for 7–8 minutes on medium flame.
Step 8:
Add boiled matar (2 tbsp).
Add boiled potato (1 large).
Add fried paneer.
Add a few coriander leaves.
Cover and cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.
Step 9:
Add green chillies (4).
Add kasuri methi (1 tsp).
Add a few coriander leaves.
Cover and cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.
Step 10:
Your Paneer Gobhi Matar Curry is ready to serve!
