A critical and distinguishing factor between accounting for Sole proprietorship and Partnership business is the extended portion of the Income Statement for Partnership Accounts. This is called Appropriation Account. It details how the income from the partnership business is distributed to the various stakeholders. This video is primarily concerned with the appropriation of Profit (Loss) in a Partnership business.
