Our French House Adventure - Introduction Slideshow Before Renovation

This is a slideshow of the house we have just brought in lower Normandy in France. It is in need of complete renovation having been empty for several years.
The house has three floors and four double bedrooms. There are cellars covering the whole of the footprint of the house. The house stands on a quarter acre plot that has a stream bordering the back edge.
The photos were taken in July 2020 when we viewed the house before buying it.
Over the coming months we will be bringing this house back to a condition where we can live in it. There needs to be a lot of work before we are able to move in though, it needs everything from windows to a connection into the sewer and every thing in between. We intend on rewiring it, fitting a kitchen and two bathrooms, adding heating and growing our own vegetables in the garden.
As soon as we get back to France I will take a video of the house as it is before we start, as some of the details cannot be seen in these photos. Subscribe to follow our progress.
