AC Duct Honey Bee Rescue

Описание: This was our first hive cutout and first hive for 2023. A new home construction manager contacted us requesting a bee removal. House was simply a shell with electric and and AC Ducting in place. Sheet rock was not installed yet. Honey bees had swarmed in settled into the main AC Duct outlet.

With no power on site, we setup our inverter to the truck battery, and ran the shop vac with it. A small latter, and the usual equipment to remove bees was setup up. We completed the Honey bee Rescue in a couple hours. Boy, my shoulders were sore the next day after working overhead so long.

The bees were super calm. We barely used any smoke at all. Upon opening them up in the apiary, they continued their docile behavior. This will be a colony I will make splits from and hopefully create queens out of as well.
