Описание: This is the Kennedy’s Road Level Crossing located in Arcadia, VIC. This crossing sees V/Line Passenger Trains operating between Melbourne and Shepparton, as well as Freight Trains that head further north to Tocumwal, NSW.

The Original Gated Signals were installed here sometime between 2012-2014, and replaced Give-way Signs.

On July 17th, the crossings equipment originally consisted of: 2 Unmarked Bases, Western Cullen Hayes Gate Mechansims, Black Westinghouse Crossarms on Black Marked Westinghouse LED Lights. Both Signals had General Signals Type 2 E-Bells, which were both working when I visited the crossing close to the upgrade. The Northern Signal also had a very faded Red Background Crossbuck.

On July 21st the whole Shepparton line was replaced with buses, while most Level Crossings in the Arcadia Area were upgraded or changed.

I then returned to the crossing on July 30th.
A new Healthy State Indicator was installed on the Southern Signal, next to the bell. The General Signals E-Bell on this signal was also replaced with a Siemens E-Bell. During this closure, the faded Red Background Crossbuck on the Northern Signal was replaced with a brand new one. The Rest of the crossing remained unchanged.
