Plug USB soundcard straight into usb port & let Windows 7 install driver

Follow these steps in Traktor on how to configure the external soundcard to work as a preview/monitor/booth


-The headphone jack will also work coming out of your computers built-in soundcard allowing you to use bigger speakers.
-This is the same for if you have your sound through a monitor/television through HDMI (with built in speakers). Using your monitors/televisions built-in speakers (different configuration in output monitor)
-When I say computer I am actually using a laptop 2.0 processor & 3GB of memory and this works fine.

**** Very occassionally you can get distortion through your master. It is usually because something isn't set up correctly. Also you must consider how universal ASIO4all has to be, being compatible with so many sound cards. Make sure your computers soundcard is up-to-date and has best driver. Windows 7 may not provide the best driver for your built-in soundcard , using software alike "driver genius (requires payment)" will detect and install native drivers for your hardware.
*****HOWEVER, when you record your mixes (as set-up as I have here), any distortion or laggin you ever rarely hear will not be heard in your mixes. This is because the recording is done internally, it is not recording your speakers "obviously"
