Prior to visiting India, I wanted to explore the non popular places as well as visit the parts people always talk about. So I embarked on the journey without a plan but all fell into place through fate.
My journey started from Mumbai and I can't honestly praise it enough, the people, the food, the culture. It was absolutely the right tourist friendly place to start from.
I had mixed feelings about my second stop which was New Delhi, even locals advised me to visit better places in India, but what I did is to dare myself to see it for myself and I am really glad I did. Although, it is less desirable due to its harsh conditions, the people of this city were gold.
And when It comes to the unknown, the least popular and places most tourist leave unnoticed, The city of Patna was a perfect match. Although, this region is the poorest state in India, I would still recommend visiting with caution. I personally loved the experience.
