In the realm of Hollywood legends, few tales are as gripping as that of George Reeves, the man who brought Superman to life on the small screen. Yet, behind the bright lights of fame lies a shadowy mystery surrounding his tragic end. Reeves' starred in 'Adventures of Superman,' from 1952-1958 captivating audiences with his noble charisma. He took this role very seriously, and understood the impact Superman played on young people. So off-screen, Reeves continued the role of real-life hero by visiting children in hospitals and participating in many public events. This is the persona we remember. But, in the early morning hours of June 16, 1959, George Reeves, was found dead in his bedroom, naked with a bullet through his head. Police ruled his death a suicide, but the many suspicions surrounding that night lead many to believe something darker was at hand.
