GBO2 RF Zaku: Late UC is finally here!

Описание: This video contains two matches I had with the recently released LV1 RF Zaku on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 600 cost general with a simple but effective loadout, two instant knockdown melee weapons, two instant staggers, a beam bazooka with ridiculous splash radius, LV1 Flap Booster, high HP and excellent ganking ability. It doesn't really have any glaring weaknesses, but it requires good thrust management to use Flap Booster effectively, since it is only LV1. I didn't expect this suit to come so quickly after being leaked. It feels like a good introduction for late UC, it is a reliable, strong grunt suit without too many fancy tricks (apart from the Flap Booster of course). I hope that you enjoy watching!

Its primary weapon is a beam rifle with 2400 (1100x3) power, 8 ammo, 4.5 seconds cooldown, 15 seconds reload, 0.77 second swap time, 350m (400m) range, 2 seconds focus time and 20% (50%x3) stagger value. Uncharged shots instant stagger, it overall has great instant stagger output since the cooldown is only 4.5 seconds long. Charged shots do not instant stagger, but they can easily stagger accumulate enemies. The charged mode is your only real Maneuver Armor break, so keep it handy.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam axe with 2400 power, 3 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time and standard modifiers. This doesn't do much damage relative to other 600 cost melee weapons, but normal swings instantly knock enemies over. The downswing also has good reach, since the animation is similar to the GP03 Stamen.
Its first sub weapon is a shoulder shield vulcan gun with 180 power, 30 ammo, 710 RPM, 8 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 150m range, 2130 DPS and 1% stagger value. This has short range and practically no stagger power, but it has ridiculous DPS. With good timing, you can fire every vulcan shot at a downed enemy after you knock them over. This is even better than it first seems, since the RF Zaku deals 15% extra ranged damage to knocked over enemies thanks to its Pursuit Aux Ranged skill.
Its second sub weapon is a sea serpent wire with 2300 power, 10 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time and 100m range. This works like other heat rods/sea serpents, but to make up for its long cooldown time, it instantly knocks enemies over rather than heavy staggering them. You have enough time to fire every shoulder vulcan shot at them after a sea serpent knockdown.
Its third sub weapon is a beam bazooka with 2700 power, 95% heat, 5 seconds cooldown, 18 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 400m range, 2 seconds focus time and 40% stagger value. This must focus before firing and it has a high heat rate, but it fires an instant stagger beam with an incredibly large splash damage radius. It is incredibly easy to stagger enemies with this, so I recommend starting your combos off with it.

The LV1 RF Zaku has 21000 HP, 25 ballistic/beam resist and 20 melee resist. It has good durability on paper, which is made even better because of how small it is, it has similar HP to a big suit despite being small. It benefits from having both LV1 Emergency Evasion and LV1 Maneuver Armor for defensive skills.
In terms of mobility it has 135 walk speed, 220 boosting speed, 70 thrust and 75 turning speed. It is pretty nimble for a 600 coster, having superior mobility to most other generals at this cost. This applies to its skills too, since it has LV3 Forced Injector, LV3 Flight Control and LV1 Flap Booster.

In conclusion, I feel that the RF Zaku will be a powerful option in 600 cost. Exactly how powerful it is though, that is hard to tell. I think that it is definitely weaker than the Engage Zero Yonfavin, but about on par with the next strongest 600 generals, like MP ZZ Gundam and MP Nu Gundam. I think that once the Yonfavin is nerfed, the RF Zaku will probably be considered meta. The other RF suits are sure to follow too, some people even think that we could be getting the Gundam F90 at the end of this month, since a 700 cost clan match has been announced, so carefully consider if this RF Zaku is worth it or not before rolling.
